Components of the waste/by-product

nagy mennyiségű vért, állati fehérjét és zsírt tartalmaznak. A zsír, mint felülúszó a víz felszínén megszilárdul, majd egyre vastagabb rétegre kiterjed, így a csatornanyílás elzáródásához vezethet. A húsipari szennyvizekben sok a darabos szennyezés, amelyek hús és béldarabkák, köröm, toll lehetnek. Mindemellett igen nagy mennyiségű szerves anyagot, gyomor- és béltartalmat, hígtrágyát, szőrt is tartalmaznak, ezért rövid időn belül erőteljes rothadásnak indulnak, intenzív szagképződés mellett.
