Gyors, rutinszerűen alkalmazható.

Detailed Protocol

A vízminta 100 mL-ét lombikba mérjük. Hozzáadunk 5,0 mL 1+4 hígitású kénsavoldatot, késhegynyi horzsakövet, majd felforraljuk. A forrás megindulásakor 8,00 mL 0,0025 mol/L-es kálium-per-manganát oldatot adunk hozzá, majd visszatesszük a főzőlapra a fűtést úgy szabályozva, hogy csak enyhén forrjon. Pontosan 10 perc múlva 10,00 mL 0,005 mol/L-es nátrium-oxalát- mérőoldatot adunk hozzá, és a színtelenné vált oldatot 0,0025 mol/L-es kálium- per-manganát oldattal addig titráljuk, amíg a halvány rózsaszín legalább fél percig megmarad.

Weaknesses

A kénsavas közegben végzett meghatározást a kloridionok zavarják, ezért 300mg/L fölötti kloridion koncentráció esetében a lúgos módszert kell alkalmazni.
