Description of the waste generating technology

A lucernaliszt a lucernaszéna örleménye. A jóminőségű lucernalisztet üzemekben állítják elő, többnyire úgynevezett 'forrólevegős' módszerrel. Ez azt jelenti, hogy a frissen vágott lucernát szárítóüzembe szállítják, ahol azonnal, nagyon magas hőmérsékleten lisztet készítenek belőle. Ezt a lisztet 'forrólevegős' lucernalisztnek nevezik. Ez rendkívül fontos takarmánykonzerválási módszer, de nagyon energiaigényes és drága. Az így előállított liszt nagy értékű, csaknem abrak értékű takarmány kerül ki az üzemből. Zsákokban csomagolva szállítják a takarmánykeverőkbe, ahol nyúltápokba 20-40% mennyiségben keverik be. Minthogy a lucernát vágás után azonnal földolgozzák, nincs megázás miatti kilugzás, megmarad a táplálóanyag-tartalom, jórészt megmarad a vitamintartalom is. Különösen fontos, hogy csekély károsodással megmarad a karotintartalom, ami az A-vitamin előanyaga. A jó minőséget jelzi az ilyen lucernaliszt szép, zöld színe is.
