Description of the waste generating technology

A sörgyártás során a malátaőrleményt cefrézik, a cefrézés során a szénhidrátbontó enzimek a keményítőtartalom egy részét egyszerű cukrokká bontják. A vízben nem oldható maradék szilárd anyagokat a cefreszűrés során szűrőkádban távolítják el a színsörlétől. A kád perforált fenekű, erre rétegződik a szilárd maradék, melyet a szűrés után meleg vízzel többször átmosnak, ezzel minél teljesebben eltávolítva a még benne lévő extrakot. Ez a technológiai lépés a máslás. A máslóvíz hőmérsékletét 80°C alatt tartják, így az alfa-amiláz enzimek, melyek működése az utócukrosodáshoz elengedhetetlen, nem inaktiválódnak. A máslás végén visszamaradó szilárd frakció a sörtörköly. A törkölyt nem szabad túlságosan kilúgozni, mert az extrakt minőségét rontó anyagok egyre nagyobb mértékben kerülnek az oldatba.

Takarmányozásra: marhának 10-15 kg, sertésnek és juhoknak 0,5-1 kg adható naponta. Biogáztermelésre is alkalmas. Kései laskagomba (Pleurotus ostreatus) termesztésre is használják.
